Cinema Love

Kwanji and Howell got married two weeks ago and had a fabulous vintage movie themed reception. Ara, from Rock Paper Scissors Events styled the reception and thought of every detail to make their theme really shine. One of the details was incorporating the movie theme into their day of pieces. I worked with Kwanji to develop some fun programs and place cards with the vintage movie feel. We also created a custom rubber stamp to use on popcorn boxes that were served during the cocktail hour. Ara had several vintage movie posters blown up to put on display for the reception. In addition to the classics we made our own vintage-inspired poster starring Kwanji and Howell, so cute! This was printed 36″ x 24″ and mounted on foam core. I will be sure to share pictures of the event soon, but in the meantime, enjoy these!

Millie & Joe: Day Of

Remember Millie and Joe?  They were so creative and thoughtful in their design process, it was a real pleasure getting to work with them! Their big day was last month at the Standard Hotel in NYC. Their amazing photographer, Clayton Austin, took some stunning shots of their wedding including some of the day of elements we created together.

Millie had a very distinct vision of what she wanted her day of pieces to look like. She worked with Hatch Creative Studio on her centerpieces and room look. The place cards were printed on heavy kraft paper and hung from vintage lace with mini clothes pins. {great etsy find!} We created some amazing letterpress stationery {using their signature pie design} and Millie hand wrote letters to all her guests- how thoughtful! The letter was then wrapped in a thin, tan twine and a heart charm was placed by the bow. {another etsy find!} She included an old family photo and another clothes pin where she wrote the name of each guest. Overall, Millie poured her heart into this day and it shows!

Ticket to ride

Being a big music fan myself, these place cards brought a huge smile to my face. This couple travels the country following their favorite band so it was only appropriate that the concert theme entered their wedding somehow. Each table was named after one of their favorite albums {I know it was very hard for them to narrow down} The place cards were designed to look like concert tickets. The info at the bottom is the location and time of the actual wedding. The best part if the final line “Have a good show” this is the couple’s mantra so we had to incorporate it into the ticket. These were perfect for them and really unique.
