If you’re in an industry {or trying to get into one} that requires a lot of networking, it’s important to have an interesting business card. You want something that is going to grab attention. Most times you get on 10 seconds to make an impression so it’s good to let your card do some of the work for you. Kat, a freelance writer living in D.C., came to me needing a fresh, new look for her cards. Living in D.C., you never know who you’re going to bump into so we wanted to create something that said a lot about who she was as a writer and everything she brings to the table. I created the little icons representing all of Kat’s favorite things and kept the type simple. The back is a bright red with the phrase “Let’s get together” It’s fun and warm, shows her personality but still gets her information out there in a concise way.
